Women's Health Care in the Workplace
About
In 2022, we launched a comparative legal research initiative titled The Women’s Health Care Research Project (WHC Project). The WHC is generously supported by a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). JSPS is managed by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) (FY 2023 - 2025, Grant Number: JP23H00760, English summary available at https://kaken.nii.ac.jp/en/grant/KAKENHI-PROJECT-23H00760/).
The WHC team consists of seven Japanese scholars who are examining legal frameworks and policies in various jurisdictions—including Canada, France, Germany, the UK, the US, Taiwan, and several other Asian jurisdictions—related to women’s health issues in the workplace.
